About MyTrace
MyTrace.fyi is a privacy intelligence platform that shows people what the public internet already knows about them — and how to reduce it.
Why we exist
Most people have never seen their own digital footprint in one place. The information is public, scattered and easy for anyone else to assemble. MyTrace assembles it for you first, explains it plainly, and hands you a plan to shrink it.
What we do
We search public, legally obtainable sources for signals connected to an identity you own or are authorized to audit: web pages, public profiles, indexed documents and image contexts. Every match explains its own reasoning and confidence, and you decide whether it is really you.
What we refuse to do
No account access, no password or recovery flows, no scraping behind logins, no surveillance of other people. We never infer political affiliation, religion, race or ethnicity, sexual orientation, health conditions or criminal history.
How we handle data
We store only what improves match accuracy, mask sensitive values such as emails and phone numbers, and let you delete every audit record permanently from Settings at any time.
